8BITS | thesis short movie

“The world of video games is cruel and pitiless...
Nothing has changed in decades : you win, you live.
Even if the technologies are always more powerful, the goal remains the same.
But now, a revolution is coming and the retro-gaming's essence is about to be lost forever.
John is chosen to be the one to prevent this to happen...”

The short film was produced over the course of my last year at SUPINFOCOM, and it was the most complex project I’ve had the chance to work on while in school.
Being part of a team of 4 students, I was in charge of visual effects, compositing, editing, modeling layout, production management, screenwriting/dialogs and sound supervision.

Needless to say that I’ve learned a lot on the job.
Having an incredible team to work with also helped a little...
